 I have been an electrical contractor in Southern California for over 20 years. I have watched electricity rates climb to astronomical amounts.     We currently have units installed in several commercial facilities, including McDonald's, Del Tacos, laundromats, machine shops, and automotive maintenance facilities. We are very excited the feedback on savings these customers have reported. Even more exciting is we have many of these units installed in homes. Everyone of our customers have experienced a savings of 8-25% and higher on their electric bills.
    I have to admit I was a skeptic in the beginning when I was first approached about installing power factor correction devices. My electric bill one year ago was 40.13 kw hours, this year for the same time frame our usage was 34.10 kw hours. That is a savings of 15%!  We have saved basically the same each and every month since the unit was installed late summer of 2008.

    My first unit was installed June 2008 at Mike D.'s house in Murrieta,CA. We provided a 200 amp service upgrade and installed a Saves Electric unit. Mike added air conditioning for his garage and a spa at the same time. We contacted Mike mid Feb. 2009 to see what his savings were. We were astonished to hear that Mike had been seeing a savings of $50-75.00 per month even with the additional load!
